Blank on Title Page

When you don’t know how many volumes will be in a book so you use “In _ Volumes” on the title page, what symbols represent the blank in braille? Is it number sign, 6, 36? I’ve recently seen it done differently and wanted to clarify.

You should used the underscore symbol (dots 46, 36). It’s a blank.
