Has the checkmark been removed as a Nemeth Code symbol? I do not see it in the code book, but there is a small reference to it in the course book under ambiguous signs?

You are correct, there is no specific symbol for a check mark in the updated Nemeth code. The suggested method for representing a check mark within Nemeth switches is to create an icon.

Since the recommendation is to use a transcriber defined icon/symbol for the check mark, doesn’t that mean that the icon can be used inside and/or outside of the Nemeth switch indicators like other icons?
