In BF2016 16.11 grouping indicators are used to identify information in marginal labels. We have encountered situations when more than one element is being identified within the text. I have attached a sample of a print/braille examples. When more than one element is shown in a group, would we use two opening grouping indicators for this situation? Since there is basically a group within a group?

The issue here is that there is no way for the reader to know which closing grouping indicator goes with which opening indicator. Â I think what you have done is ok…but a transcriber’s note should be included to let the reader know that one of the “groups” is inside another one.
