Nemeth Code indicators in a worksheet

Hi,

Are Nemeth Code indicators needed for a single worksheet that’s entirely math with no literary components?

Hi Julie,

Thank you for the question. My thoughts on this are as follows:

If you are transcribing this worksheet and WILL BE working directly with the student then I think just telling the student the code being used would be acceptable.

However, if you ARE NOT working directly with the student then you will need to indicate the code being used in some way. This could be done using the opening Nemth indicator at the beginning of the worksheet and the closing Nemth indicator at the end of the worksheet. Another option would be to include a TN stating the the entire worksheet is transcribed in the Nemeth code and that the indicators have been omitted.
