Is it necessary to note on the TNP that the primary code being used is UEB and the format followed is Braille Formats 2016, along with any other codes that may be used as outlined in BF 1.3? For example:
This book is transcribed following The Rules of Unified English Braille, Second Edition 2013.
This book is transcribed according to Braille Formats: Principles of Print-to-Braille Transcription, 2016.
Here at the Center for Braille and Narration Production we do not list the primary code, other than on the title page, nor BF. However, we have been doing some work for another agency and they have asked that these notes be included. Is this a requirement we are not aware of or is this an agency decision?
