Hi, Larry,
I have an example of a trill that continues for 10 measures with no tie marks. The zig-zag trill mark extends over all the measures. Curious about this, I looked at other pieces that have multi-measure trills, and I noticed that sometimes print editors use a tie, sometimes they don’t. When you are sure that the trill is not rearticulated in each measure, and you use the tie in braille when one does not appear in print, do you suggest putting a TN that tells the reader that the tie doesn’t appear in print? Or does the zig-zag make that unnecessary?
Thanks,
Ruth
